The Ainu are an ethnically distinct Paleo Mongoloid people living in the far north of Japan. They carry forward an ancient Siberian hunting and fishing culture and are known for the beauty of their traditional artistic expressions. Although the Japanese government outlawed knives but we are pleased to offer this extraordinary Ainu scabbard with traditional motifs.
