Fogao, or dröghija, were used as stools to sit upon while scraping out the inside of the coconut, the flesh later squeezed to make coconut milk for cooking. The zoomorphic creature is probably a depiction of a lasara dragon. Note early local repair to crack at neck fastened with wire.
